Fit & Care Guide: Getting the Right Squatchy Style Size the First Time

Everything here has been worn, washed, and worn again by people who live on this property. So here's the honest version: what fits how, what runs small, and how to wash a printed shirt without wrecking it.

The one that runs small

Start here, because it's the question we answer most: the Women's Tee in Black Heather runs small. It's a Bella+Canvas cut with the Sasquatch Farm logo on the front and back, and if you're between sizes or you like a relaxed fit, size up. Nobody has ever regretted going up on this one.

Tees: true to size, with room to breathe

The Original Logo tee (from $25, seven colors) and the I Love It Here tee (from $28) fit close to what you'd expect from your usual size. The Hiker, Muscles and Paddleboarder tees ($37–$41) come in dedicated men's and women's cuts rather than one unisex compromise, so pick the cut before you pick the size.

If you're buying a tee as a layer — under a flannel, over a long sleeve in October — go one up. If you want it to sit close, stay true.

Hoodies and pullovers: size for what goes under it

The Trek Pullover ($50–$60, men's and women's) and the Team 365 lightweight hoodie in graphite or white ($50–$60) are both cut with layering room already built in. Order your normal size unless you're planning to wear something bulky underneath.

The Team 365 is genuinely lightweight — lighter than it photographs. That's on purpose. It's the hoodie for a cool morning, not a cold night. For a real cold snap on the plateau, the Trek Pullover is the heavier choice.

Hats: the easy category

The Trucker Hat ($37), Straw Hat ($35.99) and Bucket Hat in Camo & Rose ($34.99) are single-size, and the Everyday Cap starts at $19.99 with several colorways. If you're gift-buying and nervous about sizes, this is the entire reason the headwear section exists.

Kids' sizing

The Youth tee runs $23–$28. Kids grow through a size roughly every time you turn around, so sizing up one is rarely a mistake here.

How to wash a printed shirt so the graphic lives

None of this is complicated, and all of it matters more than the fabric you chose:

Hats get hand-washed in cool water and air-dried in shape — a trucker hat that goes through a dryer comes out a different hat. The straw hat just wants to stay dry and not get sat on, which is between you and your truck.
