Hat Guide
Which Squatchy Style Trucker Hat Color Is Right for You?
The Squatchy Style Trucker Hat comes in eight colors, and that is exactly enough to make people stand in the farm store for ten minutes holding two of them. This is the guide we give at the counter: what each color is, who tends to pick it, and which one to buy when it is a gift and you are guessing.
First, the hat itself
Every color is the same build: a structured six-panel trucker with a stitched leather Squatchy Style patch on the front, a breathable mesh back and an adjustable snap closure. One size fits most. It is $27, and the only decision you have to make is the color.

The solid colors
Navy / Charcoal
The quiet one. Navy front, charcoal mesh, and the leather patch does the talking. This is the pick for someone who wears a lot of blue, or for a gift when you have no idea what they wear. It goes with everything.
Black / Charcoal
Our most "city" color. Black front with charcoal mesh looks sharp with the leather patch and does not show campfire smoke, trail dust or coffee. If the person you are shopping for lives in black T-shirts, stop here.
Charcoal / Black
The reverse of the one above: charcoal front, black mesh. Slightly softer than solid black and a little more outdoorsy. A good choice if black feels too stark but you still want a dark hat.
Loden / Khaki
Loden is the deep forest green you see on the trail in late October. With a khaki mesh back it reads classic outdoors, and it matches the woods around the farm better than any other color on the wall. Hikers and paddlers grab this one.
Chocolate Chip / Birch
A warm brown front with a light birch mesh. It is the earthiest of the solids, looks great with flannel, and the lighter mesh keeps it from feeling heavy on warm days. This one gets picked by people who already own a navy and a black hat and want something different.
The duck camo colors
Duck camo is a soft, mottled pattern rather than a loud military camo. On a trucker hat it looks lived-in from day one.
Marsh Duck Camo / Loden
Muted greens and browns with a loden mesh. The all-season camo and the one that disappears best in the Tennessee woods.
Bark Duck Camo / Brown
Browns and tans with a brown mesh back. This is the color we photograph most, and it is the one that sells first at the Cornbread Festival booth every spring. Fall color, cast iron, campfire: it fits the whole season.
Blizzard Duck Camo / White
A light gray-and-white camo with a white mesh. It is the cool-weather look that still works in July, and the easiest camo to wear if you do not usually wear camo.

Make it a gift
A hat is the easiest Bigfoot gift to get right because there is no sizing. Add the Squatch Box for $25 and it arrives in a kraft gift box with crinkle paper, a sasquatch keychain, a Squatchy sticker and a printed card with your message. The Deluxe box is $33 and adds a Squatchy greeting card and a postcard of your choice. Two hats, or a hat and a tee, puts you over $60 for free shipping.
Orders placed on weekday afternoons ship the same day from the farm, and returns are accepted for 15 days. For more gift ideas, see our Bigfoot gift guide, and if you are adding a shirt, the fit and care guide will get the size right the first time.
